ELF unboxing!! (Pictures)

ELF unboxing!

My dear friend purchased me some ELF products and I thought I'd do a blog unboxing for you. ELF always have discounts going on and their products are rather cheap as well.

Here is my box of goodies (above). I'm just going to pull out a product at random and show you what the product looks like, tell you about the product and swatch it for you.
The first product I've received is this single eyeshadow in the shade Coffee Bean.
In the packaging the product looks like this
The packaging has new in the top right corner, so im not sure if this means the product is a NEW product or if the colour is a new shade as all of the products purchased claim to have NEW on them.
This is the product out of the packaging (above and below) For the packing I think the product is rather tiny the packing makes the product look a lot bigger to what it actually is.

The packing to this eyeshadow is really cute, it comes with a mirror as you can see in the picture but im not really sure if you would ever use the mirror as its very tiny but it does add a nice touch to the product. You get 2.75g of product which is decent because this product was at the time £1.97. I've just checked the website and at the moment they are having a huge discount on store and their eyeshadow's are now going for only 70p each.
These eyeshadows normally are priced at £3.95.
Once opened this product lasts up to 12 months.
I actually really like this eyeshadow. It's quite a dark shimmery brown eyeshadow but it would look lovely on a smokey eye. The colour is very buildable and for the price I think the pigment is great! Ingredients and directs on how to use is on the back of the box for this product. The swatch is the picture is applied with a finger and is dry. This product can also be applied with a wet brush for more of a pop.
The number for this product is 81126.
Make sure to check out their eyeshadows!

The next product I have is Baked Bronzer in the shade Bora Bora

You get 6g of product for the price of £3.95. This product was purchased for £1.97, they have currently sold out of all their bronzers. The number of this product is 83364. On the packaging it says "Infused with active key ingredients jojoba, rose, sunflower, apricot and grape to nourish and hydrate the skin" To me that sounds great as im always searching for products with the best ingredients!
Once opened this product can be used for up to 12 months.
There was only 2 downsides to this product for me.The first one was that before even using it or getting it out the box the elf sign on the front of the bronzer had already started to rub off. The second one was that is product had a really strong make up smell to it, almost like what a face would smell like with way to much make up on it. Other than that is product is a great marble effect shimmery golden bronzer.
There isn't as much fallout on this bronzer as there was with the eyeshadow but you have to build this bronzer up as its not very pigmented but for a bronzer I don't mind that.

The next product is a Blush in the shade fuchsia fusion.

You get 4.75g of product for the price of £3.95. Currently all sold out. The number for this product is 83138. This product lasts for up to 12 months and you also get a bigger mirror than the eyeshadow included.
This is a beautiful bright pink shade for your cheeks, I recommend building it up rather than putting a lot of product onto the brush as it has glitter shimmers and the product is very bold. I'll definitely be doing a make up look with these products as there all very beautiful. I found this blush did have quite a bit of fall out so be careful when applying this.

I will continue this post with another post.
Make sure to check out the ELF(UK) website as everything right now is going for under £1!!

TK Maxx baby boy!

My obsession with TK Maxx will never end!
When ever I'm in town I always have to have a snoop in TK Maxx especially at the baby section! I'm always on the look out for smart baby boy clothes or the makes Ralph Lauren or Converse. I have spent overall a good £500 in this store. Not all at once but me constantly going in and finding things, actually it's proberly more than that oops. Haha!
But today I only purchased two items, which where this lovely Andy & Evan 9months denim blue Bengal stripe shirtzie.

Which was only £7.99. You can't purchase this on the offical website in the UK but I'm sure you can find it on another website and it will range from about £20. I'll be going back tomorrow to buy the dogtooth pattern one because I loved it but couldn't decide between to two so hopefully it will still be there tomorrow! Haha!
It's such lovely quality, it feels really soft pretty much like a shirt you would wear for an interview if you was a boy of course. It's stretchy around the leg holes and has poppers in between the legs so nappy changes are easier which I love!

The second item I brought was these lovely Ralph Lauren top deck sander ez boatshoes.
I paid £19.99 for these and on the box it says RRP £36.99. You can find these exact same ones on the Ralph Lauren site just different insoles which are red for £45. So I got a bargain!
These are the cutest little crib shoes ever! I love them! I'd even pair these two items together with some jeans or denim shorts. I'm definitely happy I brought these! They are amazing quality and I thank god for TK Maxx best shop ever!!
I will be purchasing more products for sure!!

Pregnancy scare!

Pregnancy scare!

After having spent a day at my nans, I walked to my boyfriend's house. On the way there I must have had a spot bleed which I was pretty worried about because I hadn't bled before during my pregnancy. My boyfriends mum told me that she had quite a bit of spot bleeding during her last pregnancy with my boyfriends brother so I decided not to worry to much and see how everything was in the morning. Well it turns out that I couldn't even sleep due to being so worried but eventually I fast asleep.

As soon as I woke up I felt like something wasn't right because normally my little man wakes me up but he chose not to this morning. So I tried to get hold of my old midwife due to switching midwifes and not having my current midwifes number but no luck. I called 111 and they gave me a number to call which was for maternity bleep. So straight away I dialed the number and they told me to come into QA hospital now. I had left my maternity notes at my mums, which was such a pain as I had to travel 45minutes to a ferry and then another 45 minutes to my mums place and all the way back and then it took an hour from there to get to the hospital.

Once I arrived I was directed to two wrong places before I turned up into the right area. I was quite panicked at this time as I still hadn't felt any movements from baby, I normally feel him on the bus due to vibrations but today nothing. My name was on the board in the treetops maternity area and they told me to go into this room where they had an ultra sound system and other maternity uses. Me and my boyfriend waited in that room for a good hour before a midwife came into the room. She checked his heartbeat straight away and look at my notes. His heartbeat was bearable so after that the stress levels went down majorly! We was then left in the room for another hour to the midwife coming back in apologising because she got dragged into doing another job. It felt like they left me to last minute so if anything was to happen to my baby unfortunatly he wouldn't have been here now. Due to the staff not even seeing me for an hour when I arrived and due to them coming in the room and then leaving me an hour between each time. They spent 20 minutes with me even though I was there for over 4 hours.

They didn't ultrasound me or examine me, so I was very upset with that as if anything had happened how would they have known? Luckly he's perfectly healthy! The only thing they were worried about was the fact that they measured my bump and it was measuring quite small, even though his measurements were wrong. So he booked me for a growth scan, my baby is fine he isn't small at all but my bump is tiny. I am very petite and I used to weigh only 6stone now 8 stone and my height is 5ft. So you can't expect a giant baby with me haha! But the growth scan went fine.

My little danny was definitely playing an April fools joke on me!
Hopefully never again!!

TK Maxx false eyelashes!

TK Maxx False Eyelashes.

Everyone knows my love for TK Maxx and it just gets better and better! I truly believe TK Maxx will be my only ever commitment I ever make for cosmetics! While doing my weekly rummage there I found that they do a really good stock of eyelashes! The one downfall in TK Maxx is that they either don't change their stock until all the eyelash's have been purchased or they change them to frequently, so you have to make sure you are continuously going in there to check.

My favourite brand that TK Maxx has in the store near me is let's go. Lashes on demand. They do lost's of different company eyelashes mainly Eylure and Eye Candy here.

Always remember on the TK Maxx website it stocks different products to in store.

I'll just show you the two items I brought on my first trip which was
Individual long, medium & short Eye Candy lashes. It comes with lash adhesive and obviously long. medium & short individual lashes. These are handmade lashes.

These lashes are 50's - Individual Combo. These lashes were £2.99 in TK Maxx and these retail at £4.89.

The next eyelashes I brought were Let's Go lashes ON demand. Tube lash adhesive included. These style are medium to long sized, I prefer bigger eyelashes! Glue does contain latex.

These eyelashes are number 9 - Temptress. These lashes retail prices are £6.50 and in T K Maxx they are £2.99.

You can find these lashes online, it is a bit harder to find the Let's Go lashes online for some strange reason.
Make sure you check out your TK Maxx store!

Disclaimer - I have not been sponsored to write this blog. I've purchased all products using my own money and all opinions are my own.

This is a lovely bright pink nail polish. It applied really well, doesn't need loads of coats literally like 1 or 2 but 1 still does the job. This is definitely a great polish for going out for the night or even just for some lunch. This nail polish lasted so long i was gob smacked

(one coat)
(photo above) Swatches of Basket Case.

Oh my gosh! This polish is so my favourite! I love it and I love everything about it! It's a lovely reddish pink shade with added gold shimmers and its so beautiful applied! If you find this shade, DO NOT miss out!! Such a similar shade to Cha Cha Cha.

The last nail polish I have purchased is Ciate in the shade Speed dial for £2.00 which was reduced from £3.99

Retails for around £6.30 (reduced on Ciate site)
This is such a lovely summer colour, It's a bright orange colour and just remind me of the summer time! I will definitely be wearing this colour in the next coming months! For £2.00 can't go wrong!
Takes a couple of coats to get a lovely vibrant colour.

Review - Barry M. Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit. (with pictures and swatches)

I took a trip to Superdrug the other day while I was just mooching around town and as most girls/women do I was checking out all the cosmetics and I found this Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour kit by Barry M and what drew me to it the most was the fact that it was on offer, as it was usually £6.49 but I got it for £4.49. So I brought this product not knowing anything about the it. I had never heard of it or even just viewed it before but I brought it! which living in the UK is a risky gamble as you cant take products back to the store after trying it as apparently it's for "hygiene reasons". I am glad I took the gamble though!
It comes in a little magnetic box so it scores a 5-6/10 on how secure it is as sometimes I don't trust packaging like this. I haven't put it in my make-up bag or taken it out with me just in case because im unlucky when it comes to make-up crumbling or breaking in my bag. It is a small product to take with you when travelling which is handy, just put an elastic band around the product to prevent it from opening.
On the inside of the lid this product has a 'how to apply' step by step guide using all three powder's.
It has 3 steps which you don't have to go by but if you didn't really know what shade to use for what it helps to have a guide. The first step is about using the light powder, the second step is for using the medium brown powder located underneath the picture and then the last step which is the 3rd step is for using the dark brown powder. I think they all work really nicely together, I was a bit confused about why you would need a middle shade but it really gives you a nice glow like you've caught a bit of a tan which I really like as im very pale!

(photo above) The first shade is the lightest, which you can obviously see. Then you have the middle shade which is medium brown and then the dark shade.
The lightest shade is a tiny bit shimmery but to be honest on my face is hardly shows up as im so pale. This would look better on tanned or dark skin. The middle shade I also believe to be a little bit shimmery but nothing in your face or too noticeable but the darkest shade is matte. Also a bit of fall out of product but not too much it bothers me.

Here's what it looks like on my finger tips (photo above) You can see the lightest shade and the middle shade are more shinier than the one on the left. They are all very pretty on the face! Definitely worth the money!

Here's swatches of the products. On my freckly arms haha! For the price they are fairly pigmented but if they were any less pigmented I would be disappointed for sure. The lightest shade took a lot of layers to show up on my arm.
And here it is on my face...

I believe this is a great dupe for the Sleek MakeUp Face Form which is £9.99
On the sleek palette the lighter shade is more on the bronze side where as the Barry M one is a white shimmery highlighter.

Where to purchase it; (click below for sites)
Boots - £6.49
Superdrug - £6.49
Barry M - £6.49

£1 Rimmel London products!! Part 2. (with pictures & swatches)

This is a continued blog post from the one before!
(To view that post click here)

The second product I purchased for a £1 was this Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer.
I love the packaging for this! It has a beautiful lid.
This is the product (photo above) The colour at the bottom of the lip gloss tube is the colour of the lip gloss. It's a very bright red! It's in the shade Big Bang400.

This is the lip gloss applicator which is just the average sponge tip. The gloss is more red than what it looks like in this picture.

Here is a swatch of the lip gloss, it's an easy application like most glosses. It's very shiny also some people would consider this to be a little bit sticky. (photo above)
(Photo below) This is swatches from both of the products purchased for a £1. The above one on the hand is the red lip gloss and the pink one is the lip balm which where both purchased in the same store.

Can be purchased from; (click web address to purchase product)
Superdrug.com - £6.49
Boots.com - £6.49
rimmellondon.com - £5.99
feelunique.com -  £4.79

Other colours available;
Galaxy301, Celestial101, Nova102, Apocaliptic, Stella501 and Nude Eclipse600.

So make sure to look around cheap stores in your local town to purchase drug store products at a much cheaper price! I would say they are very good products and defiently worth a pound, even if you don't find the products work for you it's cheap so you can just pass it on or throw it away rather than being gutted for spending around £5-£6. They are both very pigmented and the red gloss doesn't have much of a smell to the product. I've linked some sites for where you can purchase them from just in case you cant find them else where.
Thanks for reading!!
