T K Maxx - Cheap nail polish!!! Including Ciate, Orly, Jessica, OPI, illamasqua and Nails Inc.

T K Maxx is always selling high ends nail polish which includes the brands Ciate, Orly, Jessica, mini OPI, illamasqua and Nails Inc. I've only purchased an Orly nail polish and two Ciate nail polish's.

When you go into T K Maxx all products have a label on them which states the RRP and the price that T K Maxx is selling the product at.
You have to go in store to find the best products as its cheaper than online and there is different company products than online.
Ciate nail polish's are normally around £9.00. In T K Maxx they are £3.99 and sometimes you can grab them for £2.00
Orly nail polish's are normally around £9.95 in T K Maxx you can purchase them for at most £3.99.
Only illamasqua is a bit more pricey but other than that all nail polish's are at most £3.99
Also in store at the moment is mini OPI 50 shades of grey set's for £9.99 which is such a bargain!
Here are the nail polish's I've purchased...

I brought two Ciate and one Orly. These are beautiful colours and I will certainly be going back to T K Maxx to purchase more!
I brought one Ciate for only £2.00 as it was reduced from £3.99!!
The first one I purchased was Orly in the shade Basket Case. For £3.99 (photos below)
Retails for around £9.95
This is a lovely bright pink nail polish. It applied really well, doesn't need loads of coats literally like 1 or 2 but 1 still does the job. This is definitely a great polish for going out for the night or even just for some lunch. This nail polish lasted so long i was gob smacked

(one coat)
(photo above) Swatches of Basket Case.

The second one I purchased was a Ciate in the shade Sherbet Fizz for £3.99
Retails for around £9.00
Oh my gosh! This polish is so my favourite! I love it and I love everything about it! It's a lovely reddish pink shade with added gold shimmers and its so beautiful applied! If you find this shade, DO NOT miss out!! Such a similar shade to Cha Cha Cha.

The last nail polish I have purchased is Ciate in the shade Speed dial for £2.00 which was reduced from £3.99

Retails for around £6.30 (reduced on Ciate site)
This is such a lovely summer colour, It's a bright orange colour and just remind me of the summer time! I will definitely be wearing this colour in the next coming months! For £2.00 can't go wrong!
Takes a couple of coats to get a lovely vibrant colour.

So these are the polish's that I've brought, make sure to check out T K Maxx for these items and all there other ranges of colours!

Review - Barry M. Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit. (with pictures and swatches)

I took a trip to Superdrug the other day while I was just mooching around town and as most girls/women do I was checking out all the cosmetics and I found this Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour kit by Barry M and what drew me to it the most was the fact that it was on offer, as it was usually £6.49 but I got it for £4.49. So I brought this product not knowing anything about the it. I had never heard of it or even just viewed it before but I brought it! which living in the UK is a risky gamble as you cant take products back to the store after trying it as apparently it's for "hygiene reasons". I am glad I took the gamble though!
It comes in a little magnetic box so it scores a 5-6/10 on how secure it is as sometimes I don't trust packaging like this. I haven't put it in my make-up bag or taken it out with me just in case because im unlucky when it comes to make-up crumbling or breaking in my bag. It is a small product to take with you when travelling which is handy, just put an elastic band around the product to prevent it from opening.
On the inside of the lid this product has a 'how to apply' step by step guide using all three powder's.
It has 3 steps which you don't have to go by but if you didn't really know what shade to use for what it helps to have a guide. The first step is about using the light powder, the second step is for using the medium brown powder located underneath the picture and then the last step which is the 3rd step is for using the dark brown powder. I think they all work really nicely together, I was a bit confused about why you would need a middle shade but it really gives you a nice glow like you've caught a bit of a tan which I really like as im very pale!

(photo above) The first shade is the lightest, which you can obviously see. Then you have the middle shade which is medium brown and then the dark shade.
The lightest shade is a tiny bit shimmery but to be honest on my face is hardly shows up as im so pale. This would look better on tanned or dark skin. The middle shade I also believe to be a little bit shimmery but nothing in your face or too noticeable but the darkest shade is matte. Also a bit of fall out of product but not too much it bothers me.

Here's what it looks like on my finger tips (photo above) You can see the lightest shade and the middle shade are more shinier than the one on the left. They are all very pretty on the face! Definitely worth the money!

Here's swatches of the products. On my freckly arms haha! For the price they are fairly pigmented but if they were any less pigmented I would be disappointed for sure. The lightest shade took a lot of layers to show up on my arm.
And here it is on my face...

I believe this is a great dupe for the Sleek MakeUp Face Form which is £9.99
On the sleek palette the lighter shade is more on the bronze side where as the Barry M one is a white shimmery highlighter.

£1 Rimmel London products!! Part 2. (with pictures & swatches)

This is a continued blog post from the one before!
(To view that post click here)

The second product I purchased for a £1 was this Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer.
I love the packaging for this! It has a beautiful lid.
This is the product (photo above) The colour at the bottom of the lip gloss tube is the colour of the lip gloss. It's a very bright red! It's in the shade Big Bang400.

This is the lip gloss applicator which is just the average sponge tip. The gloss is more red than what it looks like in this picture.

Here is a swatch of the lip gloss, it's an easy application like most glosses. It's very shiny also some people would consider this to be a little bit sticky. (photo above)
(Photo below) This is swatches from both of the products purchased for a £1. The above one on the hand is the red lip gloss and the pink one is the lip balm which where both purchased in the same store.

Can be purchased from; (click web address to purchase product)
Superdrug.com - £6.49
Boots.com - £6.49
rimmellondon.com - £5.99
feelunique.com -  £4.79

Other colours available;
Galaxy301, Celestial101, Nova102, Apocaliptic, Stella501 and Nude Eclipse600.

So make sure to look around cheap stores in your local town to purchase drug store products at a much cheaper price! I would say they are very good products and defiently worth a pound, even if you don't find the products work for you it's cheap so you can just pass it on or throw it away rather than being gutted for spending around £5-£6. They are both very pigmented and the red gloss doesn't have much of a smell to the product. I've linked some sites for where you can purchase them from just in case you cant find them else where.
Thanks for reading!!

£1 Rimmel London products!! Part 1 (with pictures)

As goes for everyone, in my local town I have stores which are named "Pound Land" "99p store" ect. I don't usually shop in these type of stores but I went into a store which isn't the same as these stores but is similar and it's called "Pound Stretchers" The prices in this store are all different as they sell a vary of items.

While browsing in store, they had a little rack which had Rimmel London products placed there. They had items ranging from lip balms to nail varnishes. All of these products where only £1!! Which I thought was a bargain!

The first product I purchased was a Lasting Finish Colour Rush Lip Balm.

Again this was only £1!! This is the packaging it comes in (above photo) It's just a jumbo lip balm which is in the shade 210 Boom Chic A Boom. It's pretty much a lip staining lip balm.  It's a very vibrant and bold colour.
The colour stains your lips and stays for quite a while on the lips. It's the same colour as the tube on the product. But if you don't like products that have a scent to it then stay away haha! As this product smells like fresh mints, The soft ones you buy from the shop.
This was the first product, I'll do another blog post on the second Rimmel product.
