HOLY GRAIL FOR DRY SKIN! /Review.

Dry Skin Problems!

Since I've been pregnant I've suffered with the worse dry skin and have had a lot of breakouts on my skin as well. I haven't really shopped around for any products on skin care because while pregnant I don't want to be chucking all sorts of products and chemicals on my skin so all I've been doing is applying coconut oil to my skin which has really encouraged my skin to get better but I still felt like I needed that little bit more for my skin care.

While I was in Boots (purchasing some floss for my boyfriend, haha) I was just checking out the isles like most do and I came across Garnier Cleansing Micellar Water, I had seen reviews on other blogs and on YouTube talking about this product which made it sound inviting to use. So I decided to purchase the smaller bottle just in case I didn't get on with it.

Well this product literally has done my skin so much wonders that so I'm happy with it! My T-Section of my face was very dry and had a lot of flaky skin in the area and I had tiny breakouts all over the skin and I'm so happy I found this product because my dry skin has completely disappeared even if I go a day or two without applying it. The redness from my breakouts and gone and my breakouts are literally gone. I do realise that it is my hormones that have made my skin like this but I do believe that applying this product in the morning and just before I go to bed (also to take off makeup) with coconut oil on afterwards and my skin just feels so refreshed, it's like just after a facial with little effort. I also love the fact that is doesn't leave the face feeling greasy! I love it!
If you suffer with the same problems or similar ones then go and purchase a small bottle of this to see how you get on with it! I will be definitely purchasing the bigger bottle of this! The small bottle of this product lasts for up to 6 months, im not sure if this is the same with the bigger bottle.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and reviews on this product in the comments!
Make sure to comment either your opinions on how you got on with this product or comment a link to your review!!

So recently I joined up to the site www.emmasdiary.co.uk which is a website where they give you all the advice and help and support you need for being pregnant and being a parent the site also includes goodies, forums, shopping and weekly pregnancy updates. I absolutely love this site and I adore all their hard work that they have put into this website for new mums and parents. If your pregnant or a parent and haven't checked out this website then please make sure you do!

Review - Barry M. Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit. (with pictures and swatches)

I took a trip to Superdrug the other day while I was just mooching around town and as most girls/women do I was checking out all the cosmetics and I found this Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour kit by Barry M and what drew me to it the most was the fact that it was on offer, as it was usually £6.49 but I got it for £4.49. So I brought this product not knowing anything about the it. I had never heard of it or even just viewed it before but I brought it! which living in the UK is a risky gamble as you cant take products back to the store after trying it as apparently it's for "hygiene reasons". I am glad I took the gamble though!
It comes in a little magnetic box so it scores a 5-6/10 on how secure it is as sometimes I don't trust packaging like this. I haven't put it in my make-up bag or taken it out with me just in case because im unlucky when it comes to make-up crumbling or breaking in my bag. It is a small product to take with you when travelling which is handy, just put an elastic band around the product to prevent it from opening.
On the inside of the lid this product has a 'how to apply' step by step guide using all three powder's.
It has 3 steps which you don't have to go by but if you didn't really know what shade to use for what it helps to have a guide. The first step is about using the light powder, the second step is for using the medium brown powder located underneath the picture and then the last step which is the 3rd step is for using the dark brown powder. I think they all work really nicely together, I was a bit confused about why you would need a middle shade but it really gives you a nice glow like you've caught a bit of a tan which I really like as im very pale!

(photo above) The first shade is the lightest, which you can obviously see. Then you have the middle shade which is medium brown and then the dark shade.
The lightest shade is a tiny bit shimmery but to be honest on my face is hardly shows up as im so pale. This would look better on tanned or dark skin. The middle shade I also believe to be a little bit shimmery but nothing in your face or too noticeable but the darkest shade is matte. Also a bit of fall out of product but not too much it bothers me.

Here's what it looks like on my finger tips (photo above) You can see the lightest shade and the middle shade are more shinier than the one on the left. They are all very pretty on the face! Definitely worth the money!

Here's swatches of the products. On my freckly arms haha! For the price they are fairly pigmented but if they were any less pigmented I would be disappointed for sure. The lightest shade took a lot of layers to show up on my arm.
And here it is on my face...

I believe this is a great dupe for the Sleek MakeUp Face Form which is £9.99
On the sleek palette the lighter shade is more on the bronze side where as the Barry M one is a white shimmery highlighter.

Where to purchase it; (click below for sites)

£1 Rimmel London products!! Part 2. (with pictures & swatches)

This is a continued blog post from the one before!
(To view that post click here)

The second product I purchased for a £1 was this Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer.
I love the packaging for this! It has a beautiful lid.
This is the product (photo above) The colour at the bottom of the lip gloss tube is the colour of the lip gloss. It's a very bright red! It's in the shade Big Bang400.

This is the lip gloss applicator which is just the average sponge tip. The gloss is more red than what it looks like in this picture.

Here is a swatch of the lip gloss, it's an easy application like most glosses. It's very shiny also some people would consider this to be a little bit sticky. (photo above)
(Photo below) This is swatches from both of the products purchased for a £1. The above one on the hand is the red lip gloss and the pink one is the lip balm which where both purchased in the same store.

Can be purchased from; (click web address to purchase product)
Superdrug.com - £6.49
Boots.com - £6.49
rimmellondon.com - £5.99
feelunique.com -  £4.79

Other colours available;
Galaxy301, Celestial101, Nova102, Apocaliptic, Stella501 and Nude Eclipse600.

So make sure to look around cheap stores in your local town to purchase drug store products at a much cheaper price! I would say they are very good products and defiently worth a pound, even if you don't find the products work for you it's cheap so you can just pass it on or throw it away rather than being gutted for spending around £5-£6. They are both very pigmented and the red gloss doesn't have much of a smell to the product. I've linked some sites for where you can purchase them from just in case you cant find them else where.
Thanks for reading!!
